Michele is a New York Times bestselling editor and ghostwriter and former editorial director of HCI Books—the original publisher of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Specializing in memoir and prescriptive nonfiction, Michele was an acquisitions editor and developmental editor for fifteen years, working at several New York houses, including Macmillan, Hyperion, Contemporary Books, and McGraw-Hill Trade.
