QUALIFICATIONS:
- Written indexes for over 400 books and journals
- Create indexes for print and embedded indexes for e-books
- Experience working with both large publishing houses and individual authors
- Will work with any size book or journal
- Have a B.S in Business with emphasis in human resources and 20+ years management experience
COST:
- Free upfront estimates upon review of book excerpt
- Cost is set as a “per-page” rate for pages with indexable content, and is based on factors such as density of writing, page size and word count
TURNAROUND TIME:
- Indexing is usually the very last step in the process when editorial work is done and pagination is finalized
- Prefer to reserve time in my calendar at least three weeks in advance
- Typical turnaround time is 7-14 days for 200-300 page books
