I’m a full-time freelance writer, editor, book doctor, and publishing industry consultant in New York and the author of 16 commercially published non-fiction books on a variety of subjects – 6 under my own name published by Running Press and 10 ghostwritten. Books that I have ghostwritten or edited have been published by Hyperion, Hay House, and Macmillan, and they have won a total of 32 international book awards. One of my edited titles landed on the New York Times Bestseller list, and another was endorsed by business gurus Ken Blanchard and Marshall Goldsmith.

I work with authors from all over the world to help them figure out how to title, shape, and market their message in order to build a strong brand and voice in the marketplace. I ghostwrite and edit book proposals as well – sometimes for literary agents – and I help authors submit their work to reputable agents and publishers or determine the best way to self-publish.

I also frequently help authors with speeches and marketing materials after their books have been released, and I sometimes ghostwrite articles for them for online and print magazines and newspapers.

My areas of expertise are quite diverse. I have done a lot of popular business, leadership, and self-help books, as well as memoirs, new age/spiritual/popular psychology books, medical subjects for lay audiences (including dentistry, plastic surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and others), and diet and recipe books. Other subjects include law, entertainment, dance, film, music, theater, nature, animals, bird watching, and ecology.
