Description for the category: Book proposal writers

A book proposal is an entirely different animal from the book itself. I find that most people don’t construct them very well; it’s hard for most people to wrap their minds around the purpose of a proposal. So, I often ghostwrite or edit them for my clients. As a result, I have extensive experience creating proposals that have sold to major publishers. A book proposal is exceptionally important for people who wish to traditionally publish. If the proposal is poor, an agent or publisher will discard it and will usually avoid reading further proposals by the same author. For this reason, I don’t advise that anyone just “try out” a proposal on their own without the help of a professional.
