To Press and Beyond is located in Santa Barbara, California. We are a three-pronged book shepherding agency: we provide editing, oversee production of books, and develop and execute marketing and publicity campaigns for the final product. We offer all levels of editing, from proofreading to content and developmental editing to copyediting to rewriting. If you have a great idea, but no time to put pen to paper, we also do ghostwriting and help authors with their book proposals. We work with a variety of book designers and cover designers and have relationships with numerous printers — both digital and traditional, here and abroad. We handle all of the details needed for copyright, getting the files to the printer and then finished books to your fulfillment house or distributor’s warehouse in a timely manner. With the introduction of e-books, we took to the learning curve and have added guidance with e-books as well. In customized campaigns, we provide both trade and niche marketing, working from a set of deliverables mutually agreed upon with the client; this includes coordinating efforts with distributors, wholesalers, chain bookstores, Independents, book clubs and specialty stores as well as submissions to reviewers, author tours, online marketing, coordinating advertising, PR, and more.
